HAIR AND MAKEUP SERVICES


  • A bridal makeup and hairstyling preview is not required but strongly recommended because this time allows us to get to know you and your bridal beauty vision so your wedding day look is perfect! We suggest booking up to 90 days in advance of your wedding day and allotting 2 hours for the preview appointment. as this will give your stylists ample time to discuss your preferences and make changes necessary without time constraints as we might have on your wedding day.

    Many brides choose to schedule their preview appointment on the day of their bridal portraits or a dress fitting, which allows them to see their full wedding day look put together from head to toe.

  • If you have an allergy or skin sensitivities, please bring products you know work best for your skin, and we’d be happy to expertly apply them for you.

  • Airbrush makeup is a liquid foundation placed in a small gun powered by an air compressor, which sprays the foundation on the face in a fine mist. This method of application creates a soft, natural look with light to medium coverage that is lightweight, sweat-proof, water-proof, and transfer-proof. It is a great option for those who typically don't like a full-coverage look or don’t wear makeup that often.

    Traditional makeup is a liquid foundation, typically in a full-coverage formula, applied with a brush or beauty sponge that often gives a dewy finish unless a matte finish is used. Traditional makeup is a great option for those who want a more full-coverage, dewy, or glamorous look.

    All of the HCBS stylists use premium foundation products, whether airbrush or traditional, to ensure your look stays flawless throughout your event.

  • The HCBS team of San Antonio wedding hair and makeup artists provides beauty services for all of life’s standout moments! Family portraits, proms, quinceaneras, special events, galas, boudoir photoshoots, styled shoots, graduation photoshoots, maternity photoshoots, date nights—we love getting you glammed up for any event that is special to you!

  • It is highly recommended that you book your event date 6–8 months in advance to ensure our exceptional team of stylists is available. HCBS believes in creating a personable experience, so we choose to book only a small number of weddings each weekend to solely focus on giving our brides the utmost attention they deserve with our curated team.

    While we do our best to accommodate all requests at any point in time before your special event, we have limited availability and can book up to one year in advance during the fall and spring seasons.

  • While our home base is located in Spring Branch, TX, the HCBS team of San Antonio wedding hair and makeup artists is primarily a mobile beauty service traveling on location throughout the Hill Country (Spring Branch, New Braunfels, Boerne, Fredericksburg, Marble Falls, etc.), San Antonio, and the surrounding areas. Is your event a little farther out?

  • Please fill out our inquiry form so we can learn more about you and your special day. We will then be able to customize a quote especially for you.

  • You will receive an email with more information about HCBS and the booking process. Please be sure to check your junk mail folder if you do not see an email from HCBS within 24 hours in your inbox, as you will typically receive a response email in as little as an hour.

  • It is at the stylist's discretion to choose to wear a mask while performing hair and/or makeup services. If you would prefer your stylist to wear a mask during your event, please communicate your preference at the time of booking. HCBS stylists use sanitary and safety procedures to ensure all products used are sanitized and disposable implements are used when possible.

    You will frequently see your stylist cleaning brushes after each client, sanitizing/washing their hands, using disposable elements, placing products on palettes, and using alcohol to clean surfaces.

    Please disclose as soon as possible. prior to your event date if you or anyone in your party has tested positive for COVID. It will be decided at that time, based on the circumstances, if moving forward with your services will be in the best interests of the stylists.

    Refunds will not be applicable for any reason after the contracted cancellation date.
