[Experience ] My experience in the beauty industry began in 2008 enrolling students at Paul Mitchell the School San Antonio. After taking a break to finish my Bachelor’s degree and travel with my husband for his work, the beauty industry was calling me. I then began my journey as a primarily self taught bridal makeup artist 9 years ago. I have received certification through Glam Lab Studios and taken classes with top pro makeup artists such as Alicia Guevara and Kendal Kazeil. In 2022 I created Hill Country Bridal Stylists after seeing a need for a beauty team focused on Hill Country brides and those who want to look effortlessly beautiful.

[Experience] I got my start in the bridal styling industry by accident when a friend, who does bridal styling asked me to help her curly hair at a wedding and I never stopped from there. I was on track to become a Spanish teacher but decided going to cosmetology school to become a licensed hairstylist was my calling! I have been a specialized bridal hairstylist for 10 years now and expanded my expertise through bridal makeup 5 years ago.

[Experience] As far as my earliest memories, I have always loved all things hair and makeup. I come from a very artistic family, so being creative runs in my veins you could say. Fifteen years ago I became a licensed cosmetologist and quickly fell in love with the bridal industry. There is something so special about seeing a bride’s unique vision come to life right before your eyes!

[Experience] I’ve been in the cosmetic industry for 19 years. Growing up in Southern California, I got my start working for a number of cosmetic companies from Bare Minerals to MAC. I was lucky enough to be able to work in LA on various photoshoots and movie/TV sets, but eventually found my calling in the bridal industry.

[Love Note to You] I’m so thankful to have found something I love doing as my career. Often times I don’t actually feel like I’m working. Meeting clients/brides feels more like “girl time” to me. We get to talk, laugh, and sometimes cry together, all while being able to enhance their natural beauty and make them feel like their best selves.

[Experience] I began styling hair in 2020 when a stylist friend of mind offered to teach me how. I loved it so much that I decided to enroll in Vogue School of Cosmetology to become an officially licensed cosmetologist and will soon graduate in August 2024. I love being able to use my talents and knowledge to help others feel confident. Styling hair has given me a creative outlet and community to explore my passions in life!

[Experience] I received my Degree in BBA-Accounting and I enjoy my full time job as an IT Auditor Supervisor within the Corporate Financial Industry. I have a passion for the bridal beauty industry and for the last five years have worked part time styling hair and makeup in over 70+ weddings on the weekends. The most exciting thing about being a Bridal Makeup/Hair Artist is that I get to meet so many people, learn new cultures, and travel to new areas.
